Description

The SCR916 is an EMV Level 1 certified reader for contactless media and closed-loop cards, equipped with two SAM slots, two serial ports, and a USB 2.0 interface. It supports VSAM and multiple payment processors, running payment applications internally for resource-constrained systems. Easily integrated with various hosts, it features an illuminated logo and 4 EMV indicator LEDs.

The USB port defaults to CDC mode for broad compatibility across operating systems (Windows, Linux, Android).
Certified to the EMV Level 1 3.0 standard, it delivers high-speed SAM communication (4–20 MHz). An SDK complete with documentation and software samples is available. The SCR916 is ideal for both legacy and new EMV transactions using high-performance SAM cards.
